We will befriend students and local communities with the figure of Dušan Jurkovič, the outstanding Slovak architect, his works in the area of Beskid Niski, Poland, Slovakia and Czechia. We will prepare:
• a presentation or a film narrated by students showing his life and achievements.
• 2 artistic „plein- airs” organized during visits- students from both partner countries will collaborate to prepare an exhibition of photos, paintings and drawings showing Jurkovič’s works.
• An exhibition of the students’ works of art which will be exhibited in towns of both partners for the local communities.
• Each partner will prepare an event at their school befriending students with information about the partner school, its region, and country. This will be prepared before the visits.
• An anti- war flash mob- in the market square of Gorlice, together with partners to show the importance of peace in Europe where 110 years after World War 1 a war campaign is taking place.
• Students impressions of the visits/ project in the form of short films or articles to be published on schools’ websites, social media and local media. The number of students in Polish school involved in the project will be 15, the students aged 16- 18. The number of students in Slovakian school involved in the project will be 15, the students aged 16- 18
